LABEL PARAMETERS

• Label Templates must be used for custom label designs.

  • All art should be set up with a die line, crop marks, or some indication of the edges. (Provided on templates)

  •  All type and images must be at least 1/16” from any die edge to avoid being cut off.

  • If any text, graphics, or borders touch any dieline edge, those objects must have a bleed of 1/16”.

  • Any necessary trapping will be provided during art prep to allow for press tolerances. Please note a third color may appear where the colors overlap.

  • Font Management: 1) please provide a file with fonts converted to outlines; unless 2) any copy changes are to be made, we will need the file to be converted to outlines and supporting font files.

  • Any picture/graphic that is rasterized (.jpg, etc.), must be at least 300 dpi—at 100%—for the best printing results. Please also include the unflattened Photoshop files.

  • Flexo Screens/ Gradients/ Vignettes should have no less than a 2% dot minimum. Anything lower than a 2% dot will leave a hard edge.

• Acceptable File Types: 

  • High Res PDF (Required - 300dpi)

  • Illustrator (Ai)

  • Photoshop (Ps)

(Unflattened if possible)

• Common font files must be used unless you have access and rights to specific font files that can be provided.

• Download the PNG image and create a custom design in canva based on the dimensions of your desired label (outlined below: HxW). 

  • 8oz Boston Round PET Label: 2.97in x 7.125in

  • 8oz Cosmo Label: 5.125in x 5.875in

  • 10oz Aerosol Label: 8.125in x 6.875in

  • 1 Liter Boston Round Label: 6.875in x 10.375in

• Once you have finished designing your label, add the PNG template over top and save. the template should line up perfectly with the size of your label, if it does not, the dimensions are incorrect and should be adjusted to the specifications above.
